The Dutch Tax Administration has declared SCI to be a “cultural institution for general benefit” (culturele algemeen nut beogende instelling, Culturele ANBI). This means that donations to ANBI’s are tax deductable. An ANBI is exempted from inheritance tax and gift tax on inheritances and gifts it receives.
