Moscow: Kuskovo

SCI has digitalized de Dutch and Flemish collection in 2000 and is currently working on the description. The collection has not yet been added to the database.

The museum is in the possession of a hundred unique and largely unknown pieces by Dutch and Flemish masters, among which Aert van der Neer, Jan Both, Hendrik van Steenwijck and many other characteristic examples from the 16th and 17th centuries. Furthermore, an interesting selfportrait has been found here by Adam Pitten; both signed and dated.

SCI held the conference ‘Common Dutch and Russian cultural heritage’ in march 2012 in the Kuskovo Estate Museum.
